ABTA Magazine commissioned me to design an illustrated map of Japan to accompany one of their travel guides. The aim of the map was to compliment a destination guide of the country and to show some of the amazing places you can visit.
The brief was to produce a colourful, engaging, but small enough map to work on an A4 page with text.
The finished map highlights some of the places and sights you can see while visiting Japan: Hokkaido, Mount Fuji, Hiroshima, Kyoto, Cherry blossom, sumo wrestlers, Tokyo and Naoshima Island.

Some other commissions from ABTA magazine include maps of Portugal, China, Malaysia and Cuba.
