Illustrated Map of China

Client: ABTA Magazine

I was commissioned by ABTA Magazine to design an illustrated map of China. The brief was to design an eye-catching illustrated map of China that featured some of the main tourist places and the attractions that could be seen there.

The finished map is bright and colourful. I purposely featured a lot of red which is associated with happiness and good fortune in China.

Some of the interesting places highlighted on the map include:

Bejing, Xi’an, Terracotta Warriors, Hong Kong, Macau, Yunnan, Tibet and Chengdu.

Some other commissions from ABTA magazine include maps of Japan, Portugal, Malaysia and Cuba.
