Tourist map of Portugal

Client: ABTA Magazine

ABTA Magazine commissioned me to design an illustrated tourist map of Portugal. The brief was to design a colourful, eye-catching map that featured the main towns and cities mentioned in the accompanying article while also showing some of the local Portuguese food and drink and emphasising Portugal’s beautiful long coastline.

The completed tourist map of Portugal also needed to reference the Portuguese owned Azores and show its location in relation to Europe and Madeira which I did using a small inset map.

Some other commissions from ABTA magazine include maps of Japan, China, Malaysia and Cuba.
