Westminster Map

Client: Houses of Parliament

The Houses of Parliament commissioned me to design an illustrated Westminster map that could be used across a range of retail items and sold through the 4 Houses of Parliament gift shops.

The design brief was:

• to design an A2 Westminster map that would highlight the Houses of Parliament and other key buildings in Westminster,
• include nearby iconic London landmarks also could be included such as Buckingham Palace and The National Gallery.
• The design should also include the River Thames and other ‘London things’ like red buses, phone boxes and black cabs.

I designed the map using an eye catching a bright palette and also included Larry, the Number 10 cat.

The Westminster map has been used across a range of products including travel cups, fridge magnets, confectionary, tea towels and a 1000 piece jigsaw.
