Blossomwatch Map and Poster

Client: National Trust Manchester

National Trust Manchester Urban Team recommissioned me to update the folding Manchester Blossomwatch map and design a new B2 poster. The recommission also included updating posters for St Peters Square Tram Stop as well as designing new digital bus screens for 2026.

I reduced the size of the Blossomwatch map to focus Manchester city centre and added two new blossom hotspots. Heaton Park in the north of Manchester and Wythenshawe Park in the south.

The main update was the design of a large poster on the flip side of the map in partnership with Go Jauntly. The poster shows 20 ways to connect with nature this spring and is centred around springtime, blossom and being outside in nature. In a similar vein to the National Trust 50 things to do before you’re 11¾ the poster shows outdoor activities like making art from nature, eating a picnic and creating music from natural materials. Each activity includes a tick box.

As part of the recommission I also updated the tram stop posters in St Peter’s Square and designed digital bus screens to promote the festival of blossom in Manchester.
